Archdiocese of Lipa enhances Web Presence

The Archdiocese of Lipa established their web presence since 1987, when being an internet savvy was but a word few people understand.  Through the kindness of Mr. Jerry Sto. Tomas and his technical team, the Archdiocese of Lipa website (www.archlipa.org) went online, providing them longer arms to reach out to members around the globe.  In the onset of LACMMI's ongoing projects complementing the Archdiocese's, the enhancement of their web presence has become one of their most important tools in today's technological age.

Who can be members?
Any Batangueño who migrated locally or overseas or OFW's and their families in the Philippines.  One OFW or Migrant membership includes their families left behind.  (When you become a member, your families automatically become members.)

We are NOT an exclusive group for Catholics so whatever your religious affiliation, as long as you are either a Batangueño migrant or a Batangueño OFW, you are welcome to join.

How can I become a member of LACMMI?
To protect our member's information, you have to download and save the Membership application form to your computer and send it by email after completion.  Further instructions can be found at the bottom of the application form.

What can my membership do for me?
Most migrants and OFW's may feel that they don't need memberships especially those who are settled down nicely in their host countries.  LACMMI is not only a one-stop help zone for those in need of assistance locally or abroad like other OFW's in countries where prevalent requirements for assistance is an everyday fact of life.  This is your gateway to reach out and know what goes on in your province.  If you are a member of groups formed in your area of migration or area of work, you can be part of an undertaking that specifically involves Batangueños.  Vew partial listing of documented counseling and assistance we are currently involved in.

Programs that are now being laid out on the drawing boards include:

Special Discounts to shopping malls and commercial companies are being worked out to give our members special privileges to some of our partners' businesses.

Keeping in touch to folks at home in greatly reduced charges using communication systems that we will bring directly to affected areas, especially to those whose families are in remote locations.  It's one important issue we are trying to address in cooperation with partners whose capabilities extend beyond their regular business practices.

Those are just a couple of benefits that are in the pipeline.  You will be notified of more issues being addressed that will surely concern you or your families left behind in the Philippines.

You are welcome to send in your questions in our feedback page so we can add them here or address them directly.
