Who can be members? Any Batangueño who migrated locally or overseas or OFW's and their families in the Philippines. One OFW or Migrant membership includes their families left behind. (When you become a member, your families automatically become members.)
We are NOT an exclusive group for Catholics so whatever your religious affiliation, as long as you are either a Batangueño migrant or a Batangueño OFW, you are welcome to join.How can I become a member of LACMMI? To protect our member's information, you have to download and save the Membership application form to your computer and send it by email after completion. Most migrants and OFW's may feel that they don't need memberships especially those who are settled down nicely in their host countries. LACMMI is not only a one-stop help zone for those in need of assistance locally or abroad like other OFW's in countries where prevalent requirements for assistance is an everyday fact of life. This is your gateway to reach out and know what goes on in your province. If you are a member of groups formed in your area of migration or area of work, you can be part of an undertaking that specifically involves Batangueños. Vew partial listing of documented counseling and assistance we are currently involved in. click here Programs that are now being laid out on the drawing boards include: Special Discounts to shopping malls and commercial companies are being worked out to give our members special privileges to some of our partners' businesses. Keeping in touch to folks at home in greatly reduced charges using communication systems that we will bring directly to affected areas, especially to those whose families are in remote locations. It's one important issue we are trying to address in cooperation with partners whose capabilities extend beyond their regular business practices.
