After the inspirational messages and presentation of awards, the Top TOSDOSA Awardee 2009, Nikolai Thadeus Mappatao and the Top 3 and elected president for batch 2009, Sheila May Ecita gave their responses. Both talked about the misconception that the children of OFWs are pasaways. This year’s finalists have proven that they are not because five of them are graduating as valedictorians and the rest with honors. They promise to work closely together to help other OFW children become successful and productive citizens of the country. A batch reunion is planned in four years to see how far each one of them has gone in search of their own future.
